We had advice to get out as soon as possible. If you’re staying in the city make sure you have food and water. Clean drinking water is of primary importance.

I still can’t get a decent cell signal, but wifi seems to work okay, when we’re near an open connection. My school email doesn’t work, though, and gmail just keeps trying to refresh.
Santana or Brittany, if you’re able to read this and you’re still in the city, I’m assuming the George Washington Bridge is still jammed up and I don’t imagine the tunnels are any better. We got out by taking a serious risk and I don’t know if you’ll have the same luck. If anything, go north and then try to cross over somewhere up there. But, most importantly, get out of the city, if you can.
Quinn seems confident that you can handle yourselves if you just stick to what you know. Please be safe.

With the small amount of internet time you do have, you should google local malls. Finding a power cord for phone, laptop and also an oriential gift shop that sells swords would be helpful. Make sure it’s an area that’s not infected because malls could be a death sentence. Also, sex? Good release, just keep quiet.
I don’t think it’s that bad now that we’re out of the city. Really, we’re just trying to get back to Lima to reconnect with our families so they aren’t worried about us. Cell service is still terribly poor and we can’t make any calls.
We’re armed to protect ourselves, but I really don’t think we’ll need it at this point. Just a note, though, any swords from gift shops are going to be decorative and not designed for combat.
